Our Interlinked Smoke Alarm uses optical sensing technology and is quicker to recognise smoke than an ionisation smoke alarm, and less likely to sound a false fire alarm. The fxo Interlinked Smoke Alarm comes with a sealed, tamper-proof smoke alarm battery that will last the recommended lifetime of the alarm of 10 years.
Using Electrochemical sensor technology our CO alarm uses electrodes in chemical solutions that sense changes in electrical currents when carbon monoxide is present and sounds the alarm.
If the smoke, heat or CO detector detects an issue, then all products sound the alarm. Our Interlinked alarm uses a thermistor to give a quick alert when a rapid increase in temperature is detected, whilst not reacting to cooking fumes or dust.
The fxo Interlinked alarms come with a sealed, tamper-proof battery that will last the recommended lifetime of the alarm of 10 years. Certified to BS 5446-2: 2003 Fire detection and fire alarm devices for dwellings.
